Jerusalem is my first love in Israel, it combines the holiest sites of the three monotheistic Religion.
We will start with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of the Mount of Olives with the stunning landscape of Jerusalem’s skyline.
In the Jewish Quarter, we stop at the sacred Western (wailing) Wall to place a prayer note between the ancient stones.
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre – We will follow in the Footsteps of Jesus, walking along Via Dolorosa to the most sacred Christian place in Jerusalem and the entire world.
Here we see the site of Christ’s crucifixion and his tomb in the Christian Quarter we will visit sites where major Biblical events took place.
The Dead Sea, in the south eastern part of Israel.
We are heading through the Judean Hills and desert, down, beneath the sea level towards the iconic Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth.
On the way, in the desert, there are the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
We can float in the salty-water that is almost 10 times more saline than the ocean creating natural buoyancy.
It is very healthy to use the Dead Sea mud as a natural skin mask and soak up the glorious Dead Sea sun.
In the north of Israel, through the Valley of Armageddon, we tour the beautiful Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph, the home town of Jesus.
Continue to the Village of Kanna where the Wedding Church marks the site of Jesus’ first miracle, when he turned water into wine.
One of the coastal cities of Israel is Caesarea, built by King Herod the Great.
Here we tour the remains of an ancient Roman port city and see the amphitheater, hippodrome and ruins of palaces, temples and bathhouses.
In the city of Acre (Akko) we will visit the Knights Halls of the Crusader. Here we will see the fortress built in the 12th century.
Continuing all the way to Israel’s border with Lebanon the tour takes us to the sea caves of Rosh HaNikra.
Here we can enter the cave chambers and tunnels where waves crash against the rocks.
Around the Sea of Galilee Jesus preached.
We will visit Magdala, once a Biblical fishing village
Here we see the remains of a Second Temple Era synagogue.
Ginosar – see Jesus’ Boat, a 1st century fishing boat found by the Sea of Galilee.
We visit the Mount of Beatitudes crowned by a beautiful church marking where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount.
The Golan Heights – in the north east of Israel, on the Syrian border.
In Katzrin we see an excavated Jewish village from the Mishnah and Talmudic eras.
At Mt. Bental we explore the remaining Syrian bunkers and trenches captured by Israelis in the 1967 Six Day War, and we will observe towards the border with Syria.
The city of Tel Aviv lies along the beautiful shores of the Mediterranean.
These wonderful, gorgeous beaches makes Tel Aviv an international tourist hot spot.
Tel Aviv is considered to be the central city in Israel and is the economic center of the country.
The Old City of Jaffa is one of the most beautiful and, historic places in Tel Aviv, and Jaffa’s port is unique.
We visit The Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, followed by a short walk through the streets of the old city to visit the Manger Square.
The city of Jericho – the oldest in the world.
We will visit Mount of Temptation Monastery,
Zacchaeus Sycamore Tree and Elisha’s spring.
